1. 我们是谁

魔本（英文名 Magic Note，下称"本应用"）是一款由个人开发者杨子硕开发的 iPhone 与 iPad 手写思考笔记应用。本政策说明本应用如何处理你的信息。

2. 开发者不接收笔记内容

本应用没有应用账户、数据分析或埋点 SDK、广告，也没有开发者运营的笔记服务器。你的笔记内容不会发送给开发者。可选云端 API 与 Apple 购买服务涉及的数据处理，分别在第 5 节与第 7 节说明。

3. 存放在你设备上的内容

以下数据存储在你使用本应用的 iPhone 或 iPad 上（是否包含在系统备份中由你的系统设置决定）：

• 手写笔迹与页面图像；
• 对话记录（你写下的内容的识别文本与 AI 回应）；
• 应用设置（引擎选择、笔刷偏好、停笔时间等）；
• 你自行填写的第三方 API 接口地址与 API Key（仅存本机，用于直接连接你选择的服务商）；
• 你下载或导入的本地 AI 模型文件。

在应用内删除对话会移除对应记录；卸载应用会移除应用的本地数据。系统备份由你的系统设置管理。Apple 的购买记录不会因删除对话或卸载应用而删除，可用于恢复购买。

4. 端侧 AI 与手写识别

在本地 AI 模式下，以下内容处理在设备上完成：

• 手写识别使用 Apple Vision 框架，在设备本地完成；
• AI 回应由内置或你下载的开源模型在设备本地生成（基于 llama.cpp）。

在端侧模式下，你的笔迹在本机处理，不会发送给 AI 服务商。

5. 可选的云端 API（默认关闭）

你可以选择在设置中配置第三方大模型服务（如 DeepSeek、Kimi、智谱、OpenAI 等任意 OpenAI 兼容接口）。启用后：

• 你提交页面时，识别出的文字（或在你开启"视觉模式"时，该页面的图像）会直接从你的设备发送到你配置的服务商，不经过开发者的任何中转；
• 这些数据的处理受该服务商的隐私政策约束，请在使用前自行查阅；
• API Key 由你自行申请并填写，仅保存在你的设备上；产生的费用由你与该服务商结算。

6. 模型下载

当你使用应用内的"下载推荐模型"功能时，应用会从 Hugging Face（或其镜像站点）下载模型文件。该请求仅用于获取文件本身，不携带你的任何笔记内容。

7. Apple 购买与权益验证

自 2.1 版起，本应用使用 Apple StoreKit 获取商品、价格与试用信息，完成或恢复购买，并验证创作权益。应用在设备上核对 Apple 签名的购买记录，包括商品标识、购买与到期状态、续费及退款或撤销信息；为保留原付费版本用户的权益，还会核对原始应用购买版本。购买记录的获取与缓存由 StoreKit 管理，应用不会将这些记录发送给开发者服务器。

本应用不接收你的银行卡信息或 Apple 账户密码，也不会把笔记内容发送给 Apple 用于购买验证。购买与权益验证可能需要连接 Apple 服务，与本地 AI 内容处理是不同的流程。Apple 的账户、结算及商店交易信息处理适用 Apple 隐私政策。

8. 系统权限

• 提醒事项：仅当你主动使用"导入提醒事项"功能时请求，用于把行动清单写入系统提醒事项；
• 照片库（仅添加）：仅当你保存对话长图时使用。

拒绝授权不影响其他功能的使用。

9. 儿童隐私

本应用不面向 13 岁以下儿童设计，开发者不会通过本应用有意收集儿童的个人信息。Apple 购买服务和可选第三方服务的数据处理适用各自的隐私政策。

10. 政策变更

如本政策发生变化，我们会在本页面更新并修改"最近更新"日期。重大变更会在应用更新说明中提示。

Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Magic Note (「魔本」, "the App") is a handwriting-first AI thinking notebook for iPhone and iPad, built by independent developer Zishuo Yang. This policy explains how the App handles your information.

2. The developer does not receive your notes

The App has no app accounts, analytics or tracking SDKs, advertising, or developer-operated note server. Your note content is not sent to the developer. Data processing for optional cloud APIs and Apple purchase services is described in Sections 5 and 7, respectively.

3. What stays on your device

The following data is stored on the iPhone or iPad where you use the App. Its inclusion in system backups is controlled by your system settings:

• Handwriting strokes and page images;
• Conversation history (recognized text of your pages and AI replies);
• App settings (engine choice, brush preferences, idle-submit delay, etc.);
• Any third-party API endpoint and API key you enter (stored locally, used only to connect directly to the provider you choose);
• Local AI model files you download or import.

Deleting a conversation removes its records; uninstalling the App removes its local data. System backups are managed through your system settings. Apple purchase records are not deleted when you remove a conversation or uninstall the App and can be used to restore purchases.

4. On-device AI and handwriting recognition

In local AI mode, the following content processing takes place on the device:

• Handwriting recognition uses Apple's Vision framework and runs entirely on your device;
• AI replies are generated on your device by bundled or downloaded open-source models (via llama.cpp).

In on-device mode, your writing is processed on your device without being sent to an AI provider.

5. Optional cloud APIs (off by default)

You may configure a third-party LLM service in Settings (any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, e.g. DeepSeek, Kimi, Zhipu, OpenAI). When enabled:

• When you submit a page, the recognized text (or, with Vision Mode on, the page image) is sent directly from your device to the provider you configured — never through any developer server;
• That data is governed by the provider's own privacy policy, which you should review;
• Your API key is obtained by you, stored only on your device, and any usage fees are between you and the provider.

6. Model downloads

When you use the in-app model download feature, the App fetches model files from Hugging Face (or a mirror). This request retrieves the file only and carries none of your notes.

7. Apple purchases and entitlement verification

Starting with version 2.1, the App uses Apple StoreKit to obtain products, prices, and introductory-offer information, complete or restore purchases, and verify creation access. It checks Apple-signed purchase records on the device, including product identifiers, purchase and expiration status, renewal information, and refunds or revocations. It also checks the original app purchase version to preserve access for customers of the original paid app. StoreKit manages the retrieval and caching of purchase records; the App does not send these records to a developer server.

The App does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password, and it does not send note content to Apple for purchase verification. Purchase and entitlement checks may require a connection to Apple services and are separate from local AI content processing. Apple’s handling of account, billing, and store transaction information is subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

8. System permissions

• Reminders — requested only when you use "Export to Reminders", to write your action items into the system Reminders app;
• Photo Library (add only) — used only when you save a conversation image.

Declining a permission does not affect other features.

9. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect children's personal information through the App. Apple purchase services and optional third-party services handle data under their respective privacy policies.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be noted in App update notes.
